The City Council meets regularly on the first and third Mondays of each month at 7:30 p.m. at the City of Brisbane Community Meeting Room, 50 Park Place, Brisbane, California.

The Planning Commission consists of five members, appointed by the City Council for terms of four years each. The authority for the work of the Commission is established in State law and in the Brisbane Municipal Code.
