The City is served by the Brisbane School District for grades K through 8. The District has two elementary schools for grades K through 5 and one middle school grades 6 through 8.
The Jefferson Union High School District , includes the communities of Brisbane, Pacifica and Daly City with combined population over 100,000, serves grades 9 through 12 with four high schools. The enrolment figures below reflect only the Brisbane School District enrollments as Brisbane students comprise such a small portion of the Jefferson Union High School District enrollments.
San Mateo Community College District has three campuses providing post high school education and training including vocational, adult, and lower division courses leading to an Associate Arts degree as well as a four year program providing students with the opportunity of gaining a Bachelor degree.
Several large four year universities and graduate schools are nearby including University of California - Berkeley; University of California - San Francisco; Cal State Universities at Hayward, San Francisco and San Jose; Golden Gate University; Saint Mary's College; Santa Clara University; Stanford University; and University of San Francisco.
